Virvon Varvon!

On Palm Sunday, children in Finland put on the costumes (most of them are witches, cutest witches ever) and wander about the neighborhood knocking on doors, giving people twigs decorated with colorful feathers, eggs, etc, and  wishing people the following:

"Virvon varvon, tuoreeks, terveeks, tulevaks vuodeks, vitsa sulle, palkka mulle!"
"I wave a twig for a fresh and healthy year ahead; a twig for you, a treat for me!"
